Philosophers claim that people are naturally curious but that is dead wrong. People are dead conservative, hating change and adjusting only with the most violent, revolutionary spasms as self-loathers in a mass movement if they are heedless.
People, born depraved, are suspicious of anything new. They prefer what they are and new to anything new, brighter or better. To maverize is to learn to be unnaturally curious, to seek out the new, to strive to grow and change. This is a sort of activism, whereas biologically incurious human outlook, for most of the people most of the time, is a stupid fatalism.
We must learn to reason, to think, to seek the new and different, just like we learn other wholesome, habituated habits.
