What is easy individualism? It occurs as one lives life for one's own carefree pursuit of and fulfillment of meeting one's pleasurable desires as one's primary life mission. No duty, no responsibility, no need for se;lf-sacrifice, just endless fun and delight.
Now the pursuit of pleasure, leisure, play, fun and ease are acceptable up to a point, but, as Jordan Peterson warns, if we lived in a perfect Utopia with no need to work, in perfect ease and unearned wealth and privilege, we would soon cut ourselves out of sheer boredom.
Jordan advises that we are born to work, that we need at aim; we need responsibility. This line of thinking is close to my claim that God put us in this world to take up our cross, and self-actualize the raw talent granted each of us by God, talented that can be developed for the good of ourselves, others and society at large.
God obligates us to complete this calling, and this is our duty, our reason for living. This is hard or heavy inividualism, and that could serve as a synonym for Mavellonialism.
