On Page 141 of his book, BEYOND ORDER 12 MORE RULES FOR LIFE, Jordan Peterson lays out Rule V: "Do not do what you hate."
He will explain what it means in the rest of that chapter, but, initially, for me it meas you should do what you love to do, what you were meant to do, your life-calling, what gives you great joy as you succeed at what you love to do.
If you are mediocre and irresponsible, and settle for living as an average soul, then you wil do what you hate, but what living the role that others assigned to you, as you live by rules that are not orgnaic to your dream and needs. Live your life, not your group's version of the life that you should lead--this likely is Jordan's message in Rule V.
