When one fails to grow up, to maverize, to take on adult responsibilities like individuating, working, marrying, having children, and being politically involved, one fails to become a complete person.
What is charming and age-appropriate in a child is outmoded, repulsive and restrictive in an adult.
To be godly is closer to living a mature, sensible adult engaged in living that staying at the party to long, or lingering in the shadows in a child-like fog.
