Redistribution

If you are for wealth redistribution, you are for robbing one person of his wealth to give it, through government intercession and despotism, after confiscating the wealth, to another person that has not earned that wealth.

Rather, if each poor person were trained to work hard, long and prudently, and then invest some of their savings, they would start to build personal wealth, and over time that person will become more prosperous. That is the only solid way to build the standard of living in America.

Be Dignified

You need not be a duke. You need not be a snob, or put on airs, to act with dignity and carry yourself with class and poise. Classy is how you act, not how titled, connected, wealthy or well-coiffed that you may be.

The Masks

The well-meant effort to cover the globe with face masks is symbolic of governmentallly-mandated control of private, healthy citizens, quarantined illegally and unconstitutionally. We need this compliance if voluntary, but it cannot be mandated by Democratic governors. That is tyranny, oppression and must stop to save our nation, our constitutional republic, our inalienable rights, our free market economy, our privacy, our personal choice and our civil society. Conservatives want government out of the lives of private citizens in all states. Every dictator in history has, under the guise of requiring emergency powers to protect the public in the name of national security and to promote public safety, resorted to martial law that then becomes permanent despotism. Globalist mask-wearing, national mask-wearing, or state mask-wearing is all government-run operations of all things in people's lives. That centralization of power is pure evil, and must be opposed. Many sincere, idealistic liberals like you, are being scared into accepting governmental subjugation and direction, while the elites in the corridors of power, really just want absolute power over the people, all the time, forever. That state of affairs is hell on earth. We must worry about what we are ceding to politicians.

The Article

The Huntsville Tribune carried an VOX article on 4/25/2020. The writer was Dr. Maia Niguel Hoskin, a college professor, described as" . . . a college professor of graduate-level counseling, freelance writer, public speaker, and a researcher of all things race, mental health and social media."

She writes about the whiteness of anti-lockdown protests, and that is true, but it need not be about race. Rather, white people are more likely to be affluent, and therefore materially blessed under our free market system, so they do not want governors controlling private businesses, deciding who is essential and non-essential.

Maia shows a picture of protesters: "Protesters demonstrate outside the Orange County Administration Building demanding the end of stay-at-home orders and the reopening of Florida businesses. How ignorance, privilege and anti-black racism is driving white protesters to risk their lives."

Maia is another reverse racist that hates all white people straight up. They protest to protect our free economy, our liberties, our constitutional republic and their inalienable rights, and that is not ignorance but wisdom. Their resistance to state-level tyranny is principled patriotism, having nothing to do with being anti-black, or being privileged.

Their desire to scale-back Democratic governorial power-grabbing is not obsession with white presence, white supremacy, racism and anti-blacks. If blacks have a higher death rate from Covid-19, it might be because they are more urban in poor, crowded areas and crowding spreads this virus. That is not a white plot. We can give federal dollars to help get these folks extra treatment, tests, antibodies, but that is not what these protests are about. 30 million people are now out of work. This cannot go on. We need the lockdowns gone, the economy thriving, and capitalism unleashed. We cannot stand more trillions of deficit spending to stimulate our way out of this Progressive-made depression.

Maia is a typical Marxist blaming white racism and socioeconomics for making blacks more susceptible to dying from Covid-19. My suggestion is that we bring blacks into the capitalist, individualist, Mavellonialist value system, and most of their socioeconomic disparities will disappear.

Let me quote Maia about whites feeling oppressed by government: "Oppressed is an interesting word choice. Let's start with what racist oppression is. Oppression is not getting a job, a promotion, a business loan, or approved for your dream home solely based on your race--things that black people deal with regularly. On the other hand, oppression is not staying in the comfort of your home, with a full fridge, health care, and a 401k.  Oppression is also not a term that should be used willy-nilly, at the first feeling of discomfort, crying it to get your way--putting other people's health and lives at risk. Many of us are uncomfortable right now. But please do not conflate discomfort with oppression."

Let me respond: "Oppression is what occurs when Big Government, at federal or state level (Democratic governors this time), overreach in the name of pandemic emergency conditions to interfere in the private lives of its citizens, limiting their mobility, their economic activities, and order them to stay home. That is a grab for power that is stunning, unprecedented and detestable and must be stopped. Protesters, most white and conservative, are fighting back and they must to save America for whites, blacks and all Americans that the Left loathe and seek to rule, in the name of quarantining healthty people.

I know that there are always conspiracy-theory buffs and alarmists of all stripes shrieking that we are losing our liberties, but what Prager complains about above is truly alarming. My Status As A Prophet: Psalm 105, 14-15

I long have maintained that I am  prophet sent by the Mother and the Father to guide a sick, unhappy, confused, suffering and clueless humanity to take up the summons from the Divine, Married Couple to self-realize as living angels.

They may pay a price in this world and the next for opposing me, ignoring me or attacking me: "He let no man oppress them, and for their sake he rebuked kings: "Touch not my anointed, and to my prophets do no harm."

On Page 672 of my St. Joseph Edition of The New American Bible (1970), in a footnote, the editor writes for Yahweh, his anointed ones, his prophets, " . . .who were in a certain sense 'anointed', that is, consecrated to God, and were the recipients of his revelations."

The Three Laws Of Thought

It would seem, that as an epistemological moderate, I am a skeptic regarding the universal applicability of Aristotle's three laws of thought.

A pure subjectivist (total skeptic or solipsist) completely refutes them. Stirner, the severe nominalist, is not quite so skeptical. I am actually an objective idealist more than a subjective materialist, but I am both, so my degree of skepticism about the three laws of thought is not total. I believe that still apply or regulate mostly what is spoken, thought or how Reason permeates the entire world.

Innate Knowledge

Can we know the world solely by reasoning about it, or by logically build up ontological models describing the world, a process that grows out of our innate ideas about the nature of reality and its Creator? I believe that we can.

Can we know things about the world solely be experiencing it, sensing it, living in it, observing it, and experimenting upon it? I believe that we can.

My Study Of Epistemology And Ontology

Curently, I am undertaking a leisurely reading of many different thinkers, striving to construct a metanarrative about moderation, egoism and individualism coalescing to provide the self-realizing agent the means and wherewithal to really make something remarkable of herself.

I rather admire Aristotelian logic and a common sense approach to indicating that there is objective reality beyond our perceiving and experiencing. Spiritual and material objects exist out there, and we can directly detect them as they are, especially as individuators, without illusions and preconceptions.

Both Forms and things exist out there independent of subjective consciousness. Extreme scepticism, as in solipsism, is unlikely to be how the world is. Radical subjective materialists like Stirner deny that any abstraction is more than a spook. I reject his total rebuffing of abstractions.

I believe and accept that these sceptical thinkers serve a useful critique of worshiping any abstraction, any ism, of unthinking embracing of any point of view.

Infallible or intellectual knowledge about the world and the other world may be ascertainable in regard to the everyday world, the people and objects in it, beyond my subjective state and my interacting with them. Still, the moderate in me agrees with fallibilists about empirical claims and other statements that more than probable certainty is usually as close as we can land towards certainty.

Some dogmatic assertions may be available to us, and indeed to absolutely true, and we might understand and posses the appropriate words, as concepts, to exemplify our understanding of these concepts expressing real knowledge about the world.

Thus, it is that a modified fallibilistic stance, a confidence that we can glean probable knowledge about many or most things, some complete knowledge of some things, and toal inability to comprehend some absurdities, mysteries or puzzles--this is moderate epistemology, guiding us to a moderate ontology.

Pandemic

This Covid-19 episode is a pandemic backed by medical science, but these medical advisors to the President are not political scientists. I do not deny Covid is dangerous and that social distancing is necessary, but I believe we will all get it anyway, so we need to get on with it, so we can get on with out lives. 40 years ago Ronald Reagan said government is the problem not the solution. Here are some objective political truths. 1. Government is the problem, never the solution but Walz's state of soft tyranny, his martial law is tyranny, and that is an evil worse than the pandemic. It must end right now 2. Liberty, constitutional republicanism, self-determination, freedom, individualism and free markets are inalienable rights not to be infringed by a despot with excessive executive powers--ergo, a noble protest at his mansion. 3. Private solutions can be had and usually work. Public solutions almost always turn to muck, so Walz needs to stay the hell out of it. 4. Centralized power grabbed by tyrants in times of emergency is an addiction that grows upon such despots and sickens them all the way through. We need to end his dictatorship right now. 5. Centralized power corrupts and Progressive faith in public solutions grows tyranny, reduces freedom and privacy, and enthralls all citizens. In light of these objective truths, conservatives conclude rightly that unconstitutional quarantining of healthy people has to end right now.

Snowflakes

The protesters against the Covid-19 quarantine put in place, by Minnesota's governor, are patriots not wearing masks and all the other practices because they know it is a virus that will soon become just another virus as soon as it goes through the herd quickly, and people build up immunity to it, and then get back to their regular lives. What Progressives love to do is tell people not to go to work, not to go north to the cabin, stay home, cower and die inside like snowflakes. We need to man up as a people and get these damned fascist politicians off our backs and out of our lives. What Progressives do not know is that this dangerous, reckless dismantling of our constitutional system, our economy, our civil society and our sacred America is tearing apart what is a delicate civilization. Covid-19 is a virus. We are all going to get it, so get it over with. Most of us will survive it, but some of us will not. Does not this 2009 book predict eerily what is happening today with these despotic governors violating the Constitution as they quarantine healthy people?

Down With The Popular Will

The people like Trump, plentiful, blessed, cheap fossil fuels that give us the civilization, prosperity and bounty that we now enjoy, but the Left conspires and plots constantly to overrule the popular will by government fiat--benevolent tyranny for our own good, they console us with. Levin agrees on Page 157 of Liberty And tyranny: "The Enviro-Statist agenda, like much of the Statist's agenda, is increasingly immune from the popular will. Turning America Into Hell

Those that Mark Levin refers to as Envirostatists strive to turn America into hell (Page 140, Liberty And Tyranny): "The Conservative in the context of the civil society, progress and modernity are essential to man's wellbeing and fulfillment, despite their inevitable imperfections. He rejects the paganlike, anti-human crusade of the Enviro-statist, which leads to callousness, conformity and misery. The Conservative also understands that when the independence and the liberty of the individual are subject to tyranny posing as righteousness, his right to acquire and retain private property will no longer have standing."

The Legacy

We have an obligation in this generation, while we are alive, to fight against federal tyranny and Progressive evil, to protect our grandchildren. That is our political legacy for posterity.

Good But Not Perfect

America is the worst country in the world, except for all others. Things here are good but not perfect, and it cannot get much better than that.

Running water and indoor plumbing enable fresh water to be brought into the home and dirty water to be removed through a system of aqueducts, wells, dams and sewage treatment facilities; irrigating and fertilizing creates more stable and plentiful food supplies; harnessing natural resources such as coal, oil and gas make possible the delivery of power to homes, hospitals, schools and businesses and fuel for automobiles, trucks and airplanes; networks of paved roads promote mobility, commerce and assimilation; and the invention of medical devices and discovery of chemical substances extend and improve the quality of life."

Unbreakable

None of us is bullet-proof and the self-esteem of anyone can bottom out and be shattered, and that would be a nervous breakdown, a form of insanity. With self-love, therapy, family support, an iron will, embracing ataraxia and feelings of cheefulness, love, happiness, calmness, enthusiasm, resolution and and courage, one can rebound in mental health, in strength of will and in mental toughness.

With this newfound strength of personality, the self will be transformed into an unbreakable ego, or something near to that status. In that way one should be able to withstand just about anything that comes one's way.

It is Late

It is late  in America, and the handwriting is on the wall: either we restore the constitutional republic, the American Way, and modernism in America or we perish, declining further into postmodernist anarchy, chaos, poverty, barbarism and tyranny.

Egoist Fellow Feeling

On Page 276 of "The Unique and His Property", the Landstreicher translation, Max Stirner implies a form of normative egoism in that the love of an egoist creates fellow-feeling for other human beings: "I also love human beings, not just a few individuals, but every one. But I love them with the awareness of egoism; I love them because love makes me happy. I love because love is natural to me, it pleases me. I know no 'commandment of love'.  I have fellow-feeling with every feeling being, and their torment torments me, their refreshment refreshes me too; I can kill, not torture, them. In contrast, the high-minded, virtuous philistine prince Rudolph in 'The Mysteries of Paris' plots the torture of the wicked, because they 'enrage' him. That fellow-feeling only proves that the feeling of those who feel is also mine, my property; in contrast to which the relentless practices of the 'righteous' person (for example, against the notary Ferrand), resembles the lack of feeling of that robber that cut off or stretched his prisoners' legs to the measure of his bedstead . . .this is not fellow-feeling.

You love the human being, therefore you torture the individual human being, the egoist; your love of humanity is the tormenting of human beings."

Stirner is characterized as an amoralist, and he is, but I worry that his amoralism may lead to immoral results after basically evil young people, without moral training, running in packs become generally wicked and corrupt, as bad anarchy reigns across lawless society.

In the paragraphs quoted above, Stirner seems to counsel that fellow-feeling, or kindness towards others, is normal and a norm among egoists, who retain an empathy for others and fellow sufferers, and will not be unduly cruel to them.

Altruists, on the others hand, idealistic and righteous true believers, will coerce, terrorize, torture and murder egoists, sinners and criminals, those that disobey joining the ism that the righteous adhere to so fervently. There is unlimited cruelty and viciousness where fellow-feeling is lacking and that is among these altruists not the egoists with their petty, personal, trivial motives for how they act and live.

Wickedness Opposed

Wickedness requires open, clear accurate characterization to identify it, to alert to public to its presence, to identify its perpetrators, to draft a counter-attack upon it, and then the will, courage and energy to launch the counter-attack to stem its spread, to limit its damage, to protect society.

Though I am a moderate about the possibility of knowing final answers, and absolute moral truths, I feel that abstractions characterizing the results of investigating people and occurrences can allow the investigators to reach honest, impartial conclusions that stick, highly probable enough to bring to bear and objective moral code that society can live by, and for perpetrators, especially if criminal, to be punished by.

Much relativism is not  honesty, tolerance and libertarian live-and-let livism--rather it is indifference, cowardice, weakness, selfishness and even silent partnership in support of the evildoers.

Wickedness will not go unpunished by good people in this world, and by God in this world and in the next.

We must be organized, armed and willing to fight back. Grass roots reform from the bottom up, from the local level as supercitizens rule the canton, and devise a contract for America to run the nation--that is the only way forward to reform this wayward, socialized nation.

Joint Ownership

A socialist would claim that mutual ownership and equal allocations of resources and income are serving the public good.

A capitalist and individualist like me would counter that the public good is best served by inequality of outcomes, based on individual effort, self-reliance, wealthy and property accumulation earned and worked for under a free market economy and a political system that is a constitutional republic.

Therein, the citizens fight for their share of the pie and the inequality of outcomes, though real and actual, would not much matter because the average income level of most inducstrious individuators  would be upper class--who cares if there are some billionairs or trillionaires, when almost all are so affluent and independent of honoring the wishes of officials, the super rich, and elites of any kind.

It Is All Relative

As a recently hired maintenance engineer at the nursing home for mentally ill adults, for me, it has been illuminating to realize that the residents, three to a room, about 12 feet wide and 25 feet deep, live in this tiny world, with their few possession.

Then I extrapolate and wonder how the average, bourgeois adult, in his 2, 000 square foot, three bed room home, considers himself that much better off than these nursing home residents. Granted he has wealth, freedom, private ownership and near complete control of his personal affairs, but the degree of difference seems relative.

If God is worth 100 zillions dollars, and has an IQ in the many trillions, and owns are at least directs a near limitless universe, how actually big or special is the bourgeois existence of a maintenance engineer?

Perhaps, I am looking at this all wrong. Maybe, how much more or less one has is not the issue, but how one lives a life of liberty, creativity, happiness, individuality, loving and being love, while following God, based solely upon what one is and what one has at this moment in time.

Regarding the residents that I help to care for, it should be noted, in fairness to the owners, that these vulnerable adults are not on the street. They have a home, and are well-fed. They get regular medical care and many cultured activities to participate in, if they so choose. Many suffer a dual-whammy of mental illness and drug or alcohol addiction.

Still, it is an eye opener to see how small their living quarters are.

Kierkegaard's Faith

Kierkegaard's ideal religious posture, that the knight of faith is to present towards living God, is a leaped life of faith that is quite demanding and of the highest standard demanded from the believer.

I am just beginning to explore Soren's aristocratic and heroic role of elite worship of God, but it came to me that he is not suggesting that we be child-like to best encounter and know God, as is counseled in the Bible and in Eastern faiths.

Rather Soren and I are advising the believer to worship God in an adult mode of communicating with God.

Soren's approach to worship and conversing with the Divinity will be more irrational and emotional than will be mine (more intellectual and verbally describable), but I think elite worshipful behavior expected of pious self-realizer is a test that they can pass, and will, ultimately improve the relationship between them and the divinity.

Max Stirner And the Greek Concept Of Ataraxia

I have just finished a 10 month long project of rereading Stirner 5 times in both translations (Byington and Landstreicher) of Max's "The Unique and His Property".

I have several blog entries on Stirner and his subjectivist materialist form of negative moderation (the Unique, in his state of ownness and emotional ataraxia) is, paradoxically, at the same time both for and against every conceivable concept, or abstraction, that is presented to the Unique's consciousness. This epistemological and emotional neutrality is necessary for the Unique to adopt towards all ideas in order that they do not come to own him and have power over him.

My positive moderation is an emotional and epistemological stance towards all abstractions, that is grounded in individualistic, objective idealism. My ideal of reaching and keeping a peaceful, tranquil state of mind, no matter what idea that I am for or against is my way of making sure that the abstraction serves me, and not me it. With this conceptual stance taken, the individualist/anarchist can then process to maverize, serving God, the self and the world, in powerful, creative, inspirational ways, much less accessible to the Unique, under Stirner's negative moderation.

The neutral, moderate approach that Stirner offers to the Unique, in his ideal, ataraxic frame of mind is one that I accept and incorporate into my offered frame of mind for individuators as they appraise and react to any and all abstractions.

Stirner is neutral about going along with any essence or thought introduced, but I also insist that the ataraxia-existing Unique go beyond Stirner in his application of neutral conscious ataraxia when evaluating any abstraction or essence, applying it also to every emotion, feeling, subjective mental state, even to Being and existence themselves.

Positive epistemological moderation is a binary reaction to all mental events, rational or irrational in nature.

Psalm 105, 12-14

With this Psalmist quote, what seems embedded in the  verses is the reassurance and divine promise that God will go against civil authorities when they oppress or abuse the faithful. It indicates that God's natural law and national law may not be one and the same. How this is to be construed and what is leads to as citizen action is not obvious, but individuating supercitizens are not be prefer or supplant God's law with human law: "Wandering from nation to nation and from one kingdom to another people, He lets no man oppress them, and for their sake, he rebuked kings."

Now a historical skeptic could challenge this promise that Yahweh protected the Jews against the Nazis, but I can refute this charge. The Nazis did murder the Jews, but the Allies may have been sent by God to end Nazi tyranny, genocide and world conquest aims.

Also, if the Jews and all repressed peoples, abused by tyrants anywhere, were Mavellonialized, living angels and feisty (give me liberty or give me death) soldiers, armed and lethal in God's army on earth, no tyrant would long be able to kill, terrorize and subjugate them. And where the law of God is written in action on the hearts of millions of souls of any generation in any country, in this way, God would indirectly rebuke kings that over-stepped their bounds as legitimate executives, amassing power to themselves as tyrants on the rampage.

Psalm 105, 7-11

In this psalm, the writer makes note that between Yahweh and the Hebrews, his chosen people, there is a covenant, a contract between God and humans, as individuals and as a group, a covenant that binds both parties forever.

Online a biblical covenant (www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/covenant) is described as a commitment that God initiates between God and the Hebrews, and that the sinful, weak, vacillating Hebrews often stray from this commitment to honor and serve God.

Under Mavellonialism, I would recommend that the Mother and Father would like to honor and extend that ancient covenant set up between Yahweh and his chosen people, the Hebrews. De would seek to extend that covenant to all peoples and individuals, all over the earth. May we agree to the contract, and not stray from  our commitments to the Mother and Father, and all other good deities that people choose to worship and ally themselves with:
"He, the Lord, is our God;  throughout the earth his judgments prevail. He remembers forever his covenant which he made binding for a thousand generations--Which he entered into with Abraham and by his oath to Isaac; Which he established for Jacob by statute, for Israel is an everlasting covenant, Saying, 'To you I give the land of Canaan as your allotted inheritance."

God makes the covenant extend forward upon future generations into perpetuity. God's commitment is unwavering and permanent. De never breaks his word or goes back on De's promises, and  De expects similar faithful worship and pratice from humans going forth.

Our inheritance from the Creator couple is our existence, our being born as paradoxes (half-beast and half-angel and half-finite and half-immortal), being born into the world, and our inhabiting this earth is a gift of life and occupancy from them.

Note that the Hebrews are a sacred peole and Canaan is theirs's to live in and enjoy.

Eric Hoffer Ignored

I am perplexed and annoyed that the readership of 20th century iconoclast and American philosopher, Eric Hoffer seems to have lapsed, receding into obscurity and forgotten status. I could be wrong, but Hoffer seems forgotten in comparison to other thinkers.

I have no formal statistical measurement of this--a measurable, scientific analysis of current readership and popularity enjoyed or lost by a thinker like Hoffer, but I follow online, You-tube videos for Max Stirner and Jordan Peterson, both of whom enjoy a wide following and viewership, but not so much for Hoffer.

Hoffer is misunderstood and unappreciated. I believe that Mavellonialism is a fitting philosophy, religious outlook and ethical basis for self-realizing as an individuating anarchist in this 21st century. I believe that Hoffer is a proto-Mavellonialist, and that people sense this on some level, and that is why they avoid reading him or talking about him online. His Mavellonialist implications do not align with the postmodernist, jive metanarrative promulgated by Leftists and statists.

Why is Hoffer out of style?

1. Too many thinkers are faddish, groupist followers and lackeys, remaining unquestioningly faithful and deferential to the popular intellectual leaders of their generation. It would be uncool and socially injurious to their standing with the in-crowd to do the unorthodox, and read and cite thinkers like Hoffer, disregarded or banned by the maintainers of the politically correct canon of works now allowed to be read.

2. Few or none, even the retainers of his papers and journals at the Hoover Institute, really understand Hoffer--which direction that we are to head for through his prophetic and provocative suggestions.

3. Many in Academia actually to get what he is about--that he was a brilliant conservative thinker. They are repelled by his conservative stances, and therefore do not teach his books to their students for he strongly detracts from their plot to brainwash and indoctrinate a whole generation of students into true believing and serving their poststructuralist and Marxist ideology.

These academics likely do not appreciate how radically conservative that Hoffer is--especially in regards to Mavellonialist conservatism.

Mavellonialism is the religion of humans as self-actualizing, living angels serving the Mother and Father while here on earth, as anarchist-individuators and supercitizens promoting the values of moderate, capitalist, individualistic America and the West.

Hoffer, in his newspaper editorials from the late 1960s,  exhorted the middle class to fight back hard, resolutelym  never apologizing to statists, Leninists, nihilists, and revolutionaries dedicated to wiping our the American and Western ways of life.

Hoffer promoted strong, bourgeois, masuline owners and workers, militant, masculine, virile promoters of individualism, patriotism, capitalism and democracy.

4. There is a fourth possibility. It could be that Hoffer is ignored, and is being forgotten because his radically conservative message has actually been understood, heeded and incorporated into the current conservative movement. His clarion warning against the danger of intellectuals running things here for the first time is a theme that now resonates with many of the common people. They believe what Hoffer was preaching 50 years ago, and they are using his suggestions to back Trump, to make America great again, to preserve liberty, capitalism, enforced borders, our sovereignty as a nation and people, to restore our constitutional republic.

What requires attention is his prophetic anticipation of the benefits and answers available to mass America under Mavellonialism, a grassroots reform of real and lasting consequence.

I believe so. I do not know that I can provide a line of reasoning or study based on experimentation to demonstrate or prove the existence and knowability of objective reality, but I am sure that there are material objects out there and beings, spirits and Forms that live independent of the consciousness of the perceiving subject.

No National Shutdown

Mark Levin tongith (4-3-20) is arguing against a national lock down, but let the bug go through the whole population, so we get herd immunity, get the economy rolling again, and prevent the statists from setting up federal martial law, and grabbing guns, and spending trillions at the federal level that we can ill afford. Makes sense to me.

Accidental

Do accidents events in nature and in society really occur? I believe so. I do believe that  random, without-cause events, unpredicted and unpredictable, do naturally occur. These events are without causal precedent, supernatural or innate to the world's operations.

These events may cause us harm or just be of minor irritation, but they are just unforeseen, free-ranging, arbitray, unmanaged occurrences, predictable only in the sense that they will occur to us sometime or maybe often during our lives, long or short.

No hand guides them. Perhaps only omniscient/clueless Fate can anticpate their occurrence.

Accidents are not just necessitated events whose causal forces have not yet been discovered or explained. Some of them are just what they are, whereas others may one day be reviewed as part of a causal chain going way back, or arising spontaneously from nothing.

Ontolgocial Absurdity

Is the concept of absurdity built into reality, unveiling the lack of structure, consistency, purpose and sense at work in the universe? Of course, there is much that seems pointless. The world at times does seem indifferent, even hostile to human existence, let alone caring about what seems to be our meager, short petty lives.

That is ontologically real, and may be a puzzle that cannot be solved, at least wholly.  There also is meaning and answers to be grasps by those that seek, wonder, search and care.

Knowing that it makes sense--life that is--may be more important in the long run for people, than concentrating on what makes us suffer and unhappy.

I believe that Fate is, that God is, and the Devil is. With these competing and strangely complementary deities at work in the universe, it becomes obvious to me that ontological meaningfulness and rationality are stronger cosmic forces than are the swirling, opaque forces of cosmic, ontological  absurdity that perplex, scare and befuddle us.

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson reported today that the Trump administration and the medical community are heavily interlocked and focused to stop this Covid-19 outbreak. He is optimistic that treatment plans now being trialed and tested, will prove effective in the near future to help cure the sick so that they survive. That is great news. May it be so.
