Trump bragged on Facebook today that he has made a tremendous difference for America. He is spot on. His bragging, name-calling and rudeness have offended many independents, women, suburbanites and independents. His approval rating might be 60% or better if he was a little less mouthy, and yet a respectful, articulate, feisty fighter like he is. His tactlessness is costing him and the country.
Still, he is my President, and he is doing a pretty good job. I wish that McConnell, the conservative pundits, all Republicans and Libertarians would rally around him, and back him and a true conservative agenda to the hilt.
Then his verbal gaffes and indiscretions will not retard the cause so much.
