What We Require

We need God in our lives now more than ever.

Levin was complaining last night that there has never  been a media so corrupt as the vicious, fanatical, Leftist, Democratic media.

They not only work to destroy Trump, but to destroy his supporters and the conservative movement.

These media people are proud of themselves, not ashamed of their lying, their favoritism, their utter bias, they smearing, news suppression, brainwashing of gullible readers and viewers.

They are true believers, fanatics, and winning by any means is honorable because it advances their cause: totalitarian Marxism. Leftism is their religion and Big Government is their God. This is a mass movement to take over America, and then take over the whole world, thus plunging all into darkness, slavery, misery, want, suffering, sickness and tyranny.

Unless the reporters, Progressive intellectuals and celebrities that preach Leftism are recognized for what they are--Progressive true believers serving in their mass movement's army, then Americans will not know who they are being attacked by, and how truly serious, deadly and dangerous they are. Once exposed for what they are , the public will know what they are up to and how to defeat them. They are mistaken, mean, vicious and powerful, not to be underestimated or allowed to go unchallenged any longer before it is too late to save America.

Harvard Law Prof: Coronavirus Is an Excuse to Dump Free Speech, Property Rights from Constitution

Harvard Law Professor Adrian Vermeule suggests using the Chinese virus pandemic as an excuse to establish a new interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, implementing Marxist policies that do away with concepts such as “free speech ideology” and “property rights.”
Adrian Vermeule, a professor of constitutional law at Harvard Law School, recently wrote a piece for the Atlantic in which he argues that traditional interpretations of the U.S. constitution have “now outlived its utility,” and that it is now time for the government to take a more centralized role in people’s lives.
  
Vermeule argues that “circumstances have now changed” due to the Chinese virus pandemic, and that it is now possible to imagine “moral” constitutionalism, which he says is not “enslaved to the original meaning of the Constitution,” and is also “liberated” from the narrative of “relentless expansion of individualistic autonomy.” The professor is advocating for a new interpretation of the U.S. constitution, which he refers to as “common-good constitutionalism.”
“Such an approach,” wrote Vermeule, “should be based on the principles that government helps direct persons, associations, and society generally toward the common good, and that strong rule in the interest of attaining the common good is entirely legitimate.”
Vermeule also scrutinizes “the libertarian assumptions central to free-speech law and free-speech ideology,” which he says is “forbidden to judge the quality and moral worth of public speech,” and therefore, should “fall under the ax.”
The law professor even goes as far as stating that “property rights and economic rights will also have to go,” because they “bar the state from enforcing duties of community and solidarity in the use and distribution of resources.”
Vermeule claims that this “global pandemic” makes for the perfect opportunity to implement such strategies that grow government, insisting that “it has become clear that a just governing order must have ample power to cope with large-scale crises of public health and well-being.”
The professor also noted that when he says the government should get involved in “health,” he is referring to that “in many senses, not only literal and physical but also metaphorical and social.”
Vermeule even acknowledges that “the central aim of the constitutional order is to promote good rule, not to ‘protect liberty’ as an end in itself,” and that one common-good principle will be “that no constitutional right to refuse vaccination exists.”
“Constitutional law will define in broad terms the authority of the state to protect the public’s health and well-being, protecting the weak from pandemics and scourges of many kinds,” wrote Vermeule.
The professor even goes on to admit that implementing such principles would require overriding “selfish” claims of individuals to private rights, and that his interpretation of constitutional law means that “rulers” should be afforded a “broad scope.”
Vermeule insists that “these principles include respect for the authority of rule and of rulers,” the “respect for the legitimate roles of public bodies and associations at all levels of government and society,” and “a candid willingness to ‘legislate morality,'” among other concepts."

I cannot think of anything that Vermeule is warning about is not the truth and is not occurring. It should scare the hell out of all of us.

Levin tonight chastised a caller that did not get Mark's retort suggesting the a conservative revival requires that all hands are on deck. The restoration will not occur until, or go as deep as necessary, unless every conservative, independent and every Libertarian do all they can, in their personal lives, to fight tyranny, and Leftism.

Challenged

Someone near to me that is a liberal not a Leftist recently chided me for holding some moral reservations about the gay lifestyle. I think no one should bother gays at all, but I deny that marriage as a sacrament can exist between married gays, and civil union is all they get.

God is the Mother and married Father, and marriaged is between a man and a woman, so gays cannot participate in that. God loves gays, nonetheless,  but the heterosexual majority cannot participate in that minority lifestyle.

This relative was baiting me, citing some article about how heinous are gay conversion therapy is.

I really have not spent much time thinking about it, but, if a gay wanted to go straight, and some such therapy was honest, reputable and well-planned, it might be acceptable for a gay to adopt a straight life style.

If you google search Prager U.Com, you can discover his video: Do Good And Evil Exist?

My answer is yes, good and evil exist because God exists and the Devil exists, and good is spiritual, moral and biological power that flow from God, whereas evil is spiritual, immoral and biological power or energy spread by Satan.

Let us examine this wonderful video. Prager asks if good and evil exist. He obviously asserts that they do, as identified as religious values, as Judeo-Christian values.

Secularists deny that good and evil exist, only relativist, secular values.

Dennis raises a question: How do we know that murder is wrong? We don't without existent God, for then there is no objective truth, no moral facts. Among the secular humanists there are only moral opinions.

Dennis leads with the remark that our Judeo-Christian values are predicted on the existence of God, and God and God's moral facts are the source of Western Civilization. His worry is that good and evil will not exist if there is no God.

Dennis agrees that there are many decorous, good atheists while those believers that have done evil in God's name. God will not force believers to do good: they must elect to do so.

Dennis avows that good and evil exist objectively if God exists, and morality is not mere personal opinion. We need moral absolutes but if there were no God, just moral relativism, personal opinion.

Dennis warned that Judeo-Christian values were rejected int he 20th century by Stalin, Mao and Hitler as they murdered 100 million people. With the rejection and loss of religously back moral values, worldly murdering unfolded wholesale.

God and the values that God bestowed on Western peoples led to Western society abolishing slavery, promoting universal human rights, liberty and the emancipation of women.

To reject Judeo-Christian values is to proclaim that there are no moral absolutes. Progressives reject God as the sources of morality, morality is just personal preference, personal opinion.

Dennis challenges the viewer: If you want a good world, the death of Judeo-Christian values shouls frighten you.

I am frightened. I am a moderate, some kind of epistemological fallibilists. God exists, object reality exists, objective truths exist, can be written down in human words for us to use. What I have just asserted, I believe with probable certainty, and that is enough to build a future restoration for Western values, for a rebirth of Age of Enlightenment values. God exist and provides us with moral values to know what is good and what is evil, and then fight for the good and against evil perpetrated by the wicked.
