12-4-2014: Rush was perplexed yesterday why those, that have gotten so much from the American Way, deny its exceptionalism, loathe it and seek to replace it with the Cuban Way.
I believe that I know the answer. The pseudointellectuals, the professors, the billionaires, the ruling class, the media and the educated professionals sense that America the rich, the free, the happy, is a country for average people left alone in liberty, without government intrusion and oversight.
These ruling class hacks that have so benefited from this greatest nation are dissatisfied. They seek to impose a big government, socialist scheme, preferably a one-party dictatorship with all the above-mentioned hacks serving as party apparatchiks. That way they have the power and run the masses. The members of the party are their masters and mistresses, which they believe is their right and duty to exercise.
By converting US into Cuba, the masses are reenslaved, and are no better than dirty, sick, beaten down, uneducated, superstitious peasants in the feudal age. They want to return to that past. They will not settle for being free, rich and left alone. They crave power over their neighbors, and they mean to get it, keep it and use it.
Only the liberated masses as individuators and supercitizens, in a constitutional republic, are smart enough, powerful enough and watchful enough to keep power-seeking Leftists weak, disunited, powerless and defeated.
