You do not conceptualize clearly what is involved with egoist ethics, or how to act, unless you accept, as your first ethical axiom, that your failure, not general failure, but your moral failure, is your fault, and your fault alone. You are to blame yourself, and you are to accept full responsibility for cleaning up your room. If you self-realize in addition to that, wonderful.
