I am 63 and am facing age discrimination, as well as great soul discrimination.
I am always sending out resumes and applying for a better job.
A recruiter called me last Thursday night when we were watching television. She was very pleasant and mentioned a maintenance engineer position that seemed attractive. She started asking some gatekeeping questions.
When we got to the question about the year that I graduated from high school, I answered 1972. She paused in shock, asked twice what year, and I answered twice. She hung up on me.
That was an eye-opener.
