In Christian faith, it is said that sinners are enslaved in darkness while the blessed and righteous are free from sin and are living in a state of grace.
Very eloquent. To be good is to live freely to, to know and seek the truth, to enjoy God's love, blessinga nd presence all the time now. It is to follow the path to spiritual life.
To be evil, or militantly sinful is live in the shadow of satanic darkness, death, hatred and lies.
