Prager on the radio the other day, commented that he has long known that the Hebrew people introduced the linear calendar, when other ancient peoples lived unchangingly, generation after generation, by adhering seriously to the Mother Earth/cyclical season/event annual calendar.
Prager goes on to point out that the concept of linear progress or improvement gave rise to the ethical theory of moral progress over historical time. This concept of moral progress is one of the underlying, gold standard Western premises, allowing for human advncement and progress.
May Mavellonialism lead us to further moral and human progress.
