The Purpose For Gaslighting

I would argue that there is a cunning strategy employed by radicals out to overthrow the status quo of any given nation. I would refer to it as political and cultural gaslighting, to so discredit the standard, popular narrative, the mythology and the celebrated, accepted set of values that hold the society together, that the people abandon what they grew up on, to replace the old narrative, shared national mythology and normative system with those representing the revolutionaries that waged such a successful campaign of gaslighting. That is currently well along her in America.

Mark Levin describes how American Marxists, on Page 2 of his book American Marxism, gaslighted Americans into largely rejecting our whole system: “Of course the purpose is to tear down and tear apart the nation for a thousand reasons and in a thousand ways, thereby dispiriting and demoralizing the public; undermining the citizenry’s confidence in the nations institutions, traditions and customs; creating one calamity after another; weakening the nation from within; and ultimately, destroying what we know as American republicanism and capitalism.”

My response: we need to fight back, and we are. We may yet stop the advance of this counterrevolution. We need to raise up a generation of anarchist-individuator supercitizens, so historically literate, so politically astute and engaged and organized, so logical, skeptical and independent-thinking, that attempting to gaslight such a majority of upper middle-class citizens would be a pathetic failure.

When supercitizen Americans have their truth-loving, narrative, and patriotic love of all things traditional American firmly reinstituted, revolutionaries will be severely rebuked and on the defensive for decades/

We Americans will define who we are, what we stand for, how good we are (pretty good over  all) in our free market constitutional republicanism with our God, our flag, our guns and our Bible. American Marxism will recede into un-importance.
