Pot Luck Party

One of the crowning examples of bonhomie and camaraderie among Americans workers occurs as a bunch of workers, out of their own pockets, pitch in and bring food, beverages, desserts and snacks for a working or middle class office or factory party. This low-key, team-building, voluntary, thoroughly pleasant tradition is heartwarming, and raises morale immensely in the work place.

This level of warmth and mutual enjoyment would not be atypical at a social gathering of individuators either. Where people esteem themselves and are at peace with themselves in isolation, when they come together, their company is rather enjoyable, and a good time should be had by all.
