Drew Franklin Gates has an article on the Internet this week about Brain implants, for people. Gates reassures the reader that Brain implants are coming.They might not be as scary as full blown artificial intelligence (networked computers) . . ." that know more than we can and start making decisions on their own... but mind-machine interfaces like Elon Musk's Neuralink will open up a new gulf between those who use them and those who don't."
Gates is I believe the editor and founder of Founding Fathers. He asserts that robots and sophisitical AI being are coming. He worries about the idealists that would use any technology for any purpose without being cautious and moral--great cautionary.
He also counts himself among the realists that will use brain implant technology but are not without reserve or hesitancy to see such technology resorted to and turned loose on society helter-skelter.
