The Founders knew that God created humans, set up the world under the guidance and laws consistent with the intentions of Divine Providence. Out of natural law grows our moral order and our unalienable rights, enshrined in the Constitution.
Natural law is God-Based, so therefore eternal and unchanging in scope, authority and reach.
