Elitists, the ruling class and judges are forcing the majority of Americans, most of whom likely are not against gay rights, but believe that same-sex marriage as a legal right for GLBTs is a bridge to far. The people are tired of being told what to do, what to think and how they must live, and stand on their head.
I would like to see Mavellonialism adopted by America with alacrity, but that is not going to happen, perhaps, not for generations to come. One day Mavellonialists will self-govern and no government and no elitist will survive, let one rule supreme, by bossing the masses around, ordering them how to live and what to put up with.
