A psychologist, an intuitive amateur or a person that is sensitive and brimming with common sense can tell a lot about you just from what literature you subscribe to. For example, I subscribe to American Hunter, the NRA magazine. The reader would be a gun rights advocate and likely a hunting and outdoor enthusiast.
I also subscribe to The Cavalier Chronicle, my home county newspaper in rural North Dakota. The foreign reader of the Chronicle likely is an expatriate that misses home, and loves to keep up on all the things going on there.
My wife subscribes to the New York Times. Such a reader is more urbane, more liberal, better educated.
Be introspective for a minute. Does what you subscribe to reveal to you a picture of the self, a portrait emerging that is desirable and satisfying.
If not, begin to self-realize, building upon the person that you are right now, heading to where you wish to get.
By the way, continue to enjoy your magazines and newspapers.
