I am a Midwesterner and we are not known for being snobby, class-conscious or putting on airs. We are common working people and that is at it should be.
We must not exclude others based on ethnicity or class, but we still should have moral convictions. If someone is doing real evil, we should stand up, speak out, and openly resist them. This is not exclusion but is taking a moral stand that is our duty.
Inclusiveness is not the same as pure relativism, that any behavior goes.
