Jordan Peterson Goes Off The Rails

In his book, 12 RULES FOR LIFE AN ANTIDOTE TO CHAOS, on Page 124, Jordan goes off the rails, and believes a falsehood. Let me quote him: "We assume that rules will irremediably inhibit what would otherwise be the boundless and intrinsic creativity of our children, even though the scientific literature clearly indicates, first, that creativity beyond the trivial is shockingly rare."

I believe the opposite, that creativity is only trivial if the level of individuating is self-retarding. What is shockingly rare is that people of below average, average or above average IQ because each person does not believe that she is worthy to live a wondrously creative life, lacks the imagination to envision such an improved existence for herself, is too group-oriented to leave the pack and transfigure herself, or is too lazy to work that hard.

Jordan the snob thinks there are a few brilliant, creative lobsters at the top of every hierarchy, and the rest are doomed to life of appreciative, submissive mediocrity at the broad, well-populated based of the societal triangle in which they work or inhabit.

God is infinite, and God is the creator and expert on creating. The Mother and Father command each human to self-realize and be creative and productive with their talents. Who knows what miraculous, hidden, intelligence-enhancing powers are released and accessible to each person as they go through round after round of creating beyond initial, trivial attempts.

Jordan is right concerning natural patterns, but he is not correct about human potential as each person commences maverizing. There the sky per person, regardless off level of ability, is the limit as each creates. Trust me on this one Jordan--you are a great, smart, kind man, but you are out of your depth on this one.

My talks with God inform me that your science-based interpretations of creative potential in average people is woefully pessimistic and unrealistic.
