I got my weekly homily from The Cavalier Chronicle, dated 8/30/23, from the 1992 Revised Common Lectionary, entitled By The Numbers: “When God’s chosen people needed more people, God provided. Amid enemies, numbers mattered. With God’s help, Israel prevailed.
Even today, numbers matter. Believers are outnumbered. You can help bring God’s victory. This week in church, gather with your fellow believers . . . the Lord made His people very fruitful. Psalm 105:1-6”
My response: With Gods help the children of light can and will prevail. Whether you are a churchgoer or a church of one, your allegiance, strengthen the divine cause.
