Exodus 22:27

Here is the quote from The New American Bible: “You shall not revile God, nor curse a prince of your people.”

My response: I accept that we should not revile God, and should obey just and reasonable laws—which through our vote, we elected legislators to craft-- and respect the social contract, but I do not believe in undue deference to a prince of our people.

Lying, corrupt leaders count on and depend on submission compliance from the masses.

Here is this quote from the Holy Bible (KJV): “Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.”

My response: I am surprised to see the translation refer to the gods of Israel, but that might just be a mistaken line.
