On Page 7 of The Cavalier Chronicle is a weekly published harmony which I will quote and then comment on, and this one is from 5/8/24 and is from the 1992 Revised Common Lectionary.
Here it is: “Mother Knows: Mothers pass on to children what is important in life. They model values. They want the best for their children. God is like that. God wants good for us. When we heed God’s desires, life can be very good. Join conscientious mothers this week in church. I have given them your word. John 17:6-19.”
My response. God knows what is good for us as do most mothers. We should make an effort to heed both.
