He is complaining tonight that the Left are advancing gun control and other freedom grabs, taking full advantage of this time of national emergency to expand federal power, justified as for the public good and the public safety.
Bolshevik, centralized rule is conducive neither with the public good or the public safety. If the people are willing to give up their freedoms to gain security in this time of emergency, they will soon be deprived of liberty and security.
