Out Of His Sight

God struggles to make humans love, be lovely and spiritually good, but our group-living, our stubbornness, our historical allegiance to the Devil and our satanic natures all cause us to sin, live in sin and die in sin, unreformed and not saved. God may reject us for rejecting De.

2, Kings 17, 13-18: "And though the Lord warned Israel and Judah by every prophet and every seer, 'Give up your evil ways and keep my commandments and statutes, in accordance with the entire law which I enjoined on your fathers and which I sent you by my servants the prophets,' they did not listen . . . and sold themselves into evildoing in the Lord's sight, till, in his great anger against Israel, the Lord put them out of his sight. . .

Yahweh just desires that De's peace, love, spiritual goodness, reign, wisdom, prosperity and happiness are condition characterizing human existence, but God's rule among us cannot be the strongest and healthiest possible unless we invite De to reside among us, to rule us, to enjoin us. We must invite De into our midst so that we are never out of De's sight.
