It should never matter if someone is new money or old money. What counts is the parvenu, by their own hard work, cunning, initiative, hustle and daring, have made a small or large fortune in the marketplace.
That is no mean achievment, and being nouveau riche should be a reason for being acclaimed, not snubbed.
We want people to be self-made and successfully, materially, intellectually, spiritually and lovingly. Rising to parvenu status is a fine beginning.
