Is the universe just one big massless lump of nothingness and meaninglessness, without structure, without meaning or intelligibility? To a degree yes, but I remain an optimist that God created the world or at least created an order world out of the chaos, nothingness and natural bedlam that predated the moment of creation.
Now God's mind runs through the entire physical universe, and God's reason and logic, clearly expressed as natural law now guide and maintain in good working order that cosmos so easily to decline into entrropy, disorder and destruction.
The accidental, the un-explainable, the inconsistent and the patently absurd still reside within all phases and aspects of the cosmos, but absurdity is not the lawless law of the universe.
