My Paradoxical Take On Ethical Motivations

It occurs to me that there are two paradoxes in evidence below. There are existentially real paradoxes internal to the lives and ethics of altruists and in the lives of existent egoists.

For  my way of seeing the world, selfishness is most commonly expressed and exhibited by those of altruistic ethical training and that group-live.

By contrast, selflessness and generosity are best exemplified in the behavior and practices of normative egoists that individuate, individual-live and pursue their enlightened self-interest for their direct personal good, and for the powerful but indirect benefit that best serves the common good.

The Mother and Father are normative egoists and individual-living, so normative egoism as unfolding in the lives of pious self-realizers is the stance for living angels that they want to see acted out across the land.
