One of Prager U's most interesting 2017 videos is narrated by Dave Rubin. Rubin was once a Progressive but not is a classical liberal. He still believes in free speech, freedom of religion, and judging people by their character not the color of their skin. Progressives do not.
Progressives reject free speech in favor of prohibiting words deemed not politically correct. They insist that the audience requires coddling with trigger warning to prevent them from encountering harsh, offensive reality in books, plays and movies that are "offensive".
Rubin renamed the Progressive Left, the Regressive Left. He accuses Leftists of judging people as a collective, not as individuals. He criticizes them for making a religion of victimization as a pecking order of minorities compete for the gold medal of being the most offened.
Some groups are considered innately good and some are labeled as innately bad. Feeling trump ideas, diversity is great for quotas but not diversity of ideas, and outrage trumps honesty.
Leftism leads to authoritarianism not a free society.
