Prager offers on Facebook tonight that freedom is a value not an instinct. What he means by this is that we are naturally depraved, and, as such, our masochistic instinct is to surrender to those that tyrannize us, boss us around, run our lives for us, and exploit and oppress us in exchange for some basic security and physical gifts in exchange.
Only the self-actualizing, liberated individuator has learned to value freedom that that ethical stance overrides his instinct desire to be enslaved and dominated by elites.
