Feeling Abandoned

There are times when we feel that God has forsaken us, that we are completely on our own in  world surrounded and beset upon by wicked people. In Psalm 44, 14-17, the Hebrew author cries out to Yhweh for protection: "You made us the reproach of our neighbors, the mockery and scorn of those around us. You have made us a byword among nations, a laughingstock among the peoples. All the day my disgrace is before me, and shame covers my face. At the voice of him who mocks and blasphemes, and in the presence of the enemy and avenger."

If you abandon God, God will abandon you, but if you have remained true to God, Fate still has a hand in what occurs to us, and Lera takes a run at us too, so what s happening, and who is repsonsible, and what is their motive, is quite difficult for humans to detect.

Keep faith in God and love God, and keep the lines of communication open. Weather your storm in this Vale of Tears as best you can, and that is all we can do.
