Today, 2/16/18, on Facebook Levin points out that the bipartisan spending binge is now worse than under Bush and Obama. Levin attacks the Republican Party as progressive now, no more fiscal conservatives and McConnell and McCarthy lead the GOP fiscally leftward.
Ben Dorr of MGR noted that as the DFL here in Minnesota has drifted radically Left on gun-confiscation, the Minnesota politicians on the Right have drifted leftwards, embracing incremental steps to gun confiscation. Ben suggests that we push our Republican legislators her back to the right to hold the line.
Analogously, we must push federal conservative and Republican legislators back to the right, away from progressive overspending that will soon bankrupt America, and exercise fiscal dicipline, balance budgets and begin paying down the national debt.
