It may not legally be torture because its recipients were enemy combatants, but morally, it is a first cousin to torture, if not actual torture.
We Americans are a very civilized people living by a high ethical standard. We need torture none to extract information. We must not live like that, or allow our federal agents to conduct themselves in such a cruel, inhumane fashion.
