Being Conservative is not a sin; usually it is a virtue, the preferred way to live.
Being Liberal often is a sin, for it grows groupism, institutions, satanism, and self-loathing, the well from which all festering, human evil bubbles. Being liberal in small doses, administered under conservative guidance, can be a virtue.
Conservative compassion liberates the indivudual to work and imagine her way to art, God, success and prosperity.
Liberal compassion is usually a grab for government expansion, the depriving people of their power and liberty to run their own lives.
