Now Mark Simpson, the writer that gave us the metrosexual male concept, has coined a new modern male replacing the metrosexual. This very modern man is spornosexual: Let me quote from Theo Merz's online article about this subject: Spornosexual is a " . . . social media and selfie-obessed male who takes his cues on appearance from sport and porn."
I think Mark Simpson a clever conceptualizer of nonexistent role models for males. Who models themselves after porn stars or athletes?
Why not just be a regular Joe, hairy, fit, strong, masculine and heterosexual? This other crap is so much trendy, space age fluff, transitory at best.
Men need to be manly and act like men. They do not need to conform to group expectations. They can and will go their own way. Group living is not for them. Beyond a fit body and a clean, attractive appearance, any obsession with porno or metrosexual preferences need to be discarded pronto.
Get a job, Start a family. Join the marines. Self-actualize. These are fit occupations for the heterosexual individualist. The rest is silly malarkey.
