Rush criticized Democrats today for utilizing every news event, every tragedy as a means to score points and implement their agenda. All is for gain. All is politicized. All is fair game. All is poll tested.
Politicians in power can be savvy. Their real job is to quite worrying about getting reelected, being popular, getting rich, surviving or doing crony capitalism with their associates and friends.
Their job is to say and do what needs doing, so honestly communicate this to the voters, regardless of consequences. They are to be statesman, not clever, manipulative midgets that do not lead and do not serve. Doing the right thing is their obligation, not the politic thing.
