Act Happy

Prager the wise advises acting happy even when one is not happy. He notes that we wash our bodies and brush our teeth so as to not offend others. We have an obligation to act happy for the sake of others too. Right on.

Acting happy improves the mood of all, including the depressed, dour person acting happy when she does not feel happy inside. Routinely acting glum and unhappy pulls all down, including the sullen brooder.

A corollary to this would be not going around picking fights with others over nothing. Carry a good attitude and work for peace.
