Being Mature

It is not mere high-sounding admonition for adults to act their age. Maturity comes to us too readily in getting old. Too bad, for most of us, we do not so readily ripen into old age as mature, sensible, loving, rational adults.

The Bible talks about putting on the new adult person, shedding childish ways. Look hard at yourself to see what selfish, self-destructive, petty, immature roles that you continue to play. Why not grow up and let all that of that blow away in the wind?

Be mature. Be happy. Spread a little cheer around. It does not cost much, and may make someone's day, even your own.
