November 6th:
Jane and I are going deer hunting on Saturday morning. We are headed up to the farmhouse on Friday. The anecdotal reports from neighboring farmers is that the count is down, so that the hunt will be spotty. I had actually seen heavy, and plentiful traffic on our property. We had had some trouble with poachers, so I hope that they have not been at work.
Last fall I see ATV tracks deep in the woods where our land is posted.
It will be cold, wet and maybe some snow. We are very pleased and excited to be able to go, and to have a place to hunt.
