I am a rational egoist, and for high self-esteem and self-respect grounded in earned moral stature, but I have no use for people that deceive themselves and hate truth no matter how unsettling it is, and how it pressures them to grow, cast aside preconceptions and prejudices, and forces them to adjust their thinking.
We must seek the truth always, refusing to deceive ourselves, to deceive others, to be deceived by other, or attempt to con or mislead the Good Spirits.
If we are good persons, living in the truth as much as we can, then we can see the world as it is, what it is, what we are, what is our place in the world, and how we are to act. If we know how to act, and what are the ethical remedies to the problems our age, then we will know how to act to remedy these personal and social ailments.
To discover what is true is the first step in knowing how to act.
