In Genesis Yahweh destroyed two cities over homosexual license, among other grievous sins.
GLBT practices are morally acceptable on their own kind, among consenting, sane adults.
For heterosexual men and women to engage in GLBT relationships is an abomination to God. If the latter seek to live the heterosexual life style exclusively (not for monetary, career, social gain or family approval) that is acceptable, as long as they only live as heterosexuals.
Marriage is a sacrament between a man and a woman, and that cannot change. If GLBT adults wish to have civil unions, that is acceptable for God, and that is as far as any conservative should bend.
