Genesis, Chapter 18, Vere 20

The Lord and his messengers were walking to Sodom and Gomorrah to decide if to destroy them for their blatant wickedness. The Bible footnote claims their offenses against God may have been homosexuality and sodomy, lack of social justice and disregard for the plight of the cities' poor people.

Yahweh destroys the two cities. The moral seems to be that if people are too wicked, God will severely punish them even in this world.
