Genesis On Sin

Yahweh in Genesis was guiding the Hebrews to live ethically by not committing adultery or incest, and no one is inclined to complain about or disagree with these divine prohibitions on human behavior.

Yahweh wants the poor to be cared for. As an ex-Christian that admires and loves Christ, I suggest that the best and more modern way than the altruist route of unconditional, pure charity and government handouts for the poor (these increase poverty and do nothing to alleviate poverty). There are the ill, the disabled, the elderly, etc. that always will be with us and do necessitate the need for charity and some government assistance programs.

The best way to do charity is to get the feds out of it entirely, and do it through the churches, local clubs, private donations and at the country poor house level. The poor should work and pay some taxes in order that they have skin in the game. They should be trained to be individuators, and industrious capitalists out to increase their material earnings and their material worth. This egoistic solution far outweighs altruist techniques at alleviating poverty.
