There are two kinds of special spiritual places, places of concentrated spiritual energy, that deserve human recognition, with the following, appropriate reaction for each.
If demons occupy a space or house, it is haunted. It is spiritually unholy, a domicile to be avoided or exorcized.
If angels and holy spirits dwell in a residence or church, this is hallowed ground, a place to visit to talk to the Good Spirits, to glean love, insight and comfort from their presence.
