Now (1/13/19) a poll records that 42% of Americans support Trump in building the wall.

I wish Trump would hire or consult with Levin and Jenny Martin as his top advisors, and have them help him put together a contract with America to restore free markets, right-sized government, constitutional republicanism, non-activist, originalist judges and a strong, secure nation with a powerful military.

Trump needs to go over the heads of Congress and the Democratic Party and appeal to the public in a series of 30 or 40 regional speeches in 2019 to increase and cement support for his conservative agenda. That 42% could rise to 65% approval if he worked at it with a principled, conservative message for the American people.
