Direct Democracy

Pure direct democracy can only work, not descending into mob rule where the majority tramples the rights of small states, of small voting blocks and individual citizens, where each of the voting block are individuated supercitizens. They are a gathered assembly of is strong individualists, immune to group panic, pressure when assembled, or emotional appeals. These are independent thinking, logical, principled and yet moderate deliberators temperate in their demands, and they will reach consensus without anyone being compelled, their needs not met, or their rights trampled.

There would be no need for separation of powers because each citizen is a separations of powers and a balance of power by principle (live free and leave others to live free) and because they are all about equally strong and equally power, each keeping power decentralized and minimally corruptible.
