We must fight each war to win. We must have Congressional authorization to execute it. We Americans are excellent and proficient at winning wars, but we are so worried about implementing a quick exit strategy that we rush home and abandon our hard-won posts, allowing the vanquished enemy a chance to regroup as retake the unprotected territory.
We should only fight if we intend to win, and we must commit to take as long as necessary to ensure that the country remains free, peaceful and not threatened by kooks and killers.
