I hope everyone does not jump on board the propaganda wagon, heralding the banner that building up moderate Syrian factions or depending on our Arab allies to crush ISIS is a workable plan.
Look at the billions we spent on training the Iraqi army which collapsed. Look at the South Vietnames army that we built up and evaporated against Communist invaders.
What lesson from history do we take from this? The invaders and rebels fight because they want to win. The puppet armies we install in countries like Afghanistan wither away as soon as we cease to prop them up. If the will to fight is not voluntary, it is a waste of time.
We should be doing the fighting with boots on the ground, and then hold the ground for 40 years. Nothing else works. Do it right or stay home--Hannity gets this.
