The Civil Society

Mark Levin either coined or made popular this phrase, which he uses as a synonym for social contract, ordered liberty, etc. He describes the function of the Constitution to prevent the government from interfering with the  people and their lives of liberty, in a civil society. He also notes that democracy cannot work without a tradition of civil society existing first.

He accuses Obama of hijacking this phrase to disguise his push for establishing command and control statism that trashes the Constitution, our freedoms and guts the civil society.

I was just speculating that a state of  anarchist individuator supercitizens, in running their cantons, would cooperate and compete gently with a a secure political machinery in place without the loss of civil society.
