Internet Freedom

9-28-2014

There is an article of Drudge Report tonight alluding to the threat to Internet freedom and the right to privacy, as warned against by World Wide Web inventor, Tim Berners-Lee. He wants the Internet free and independent from govenments and corporations. Sounds good to me.

Today China is bombing democracy protesters in Hong Kong with tear gas and pepper spray. This is a brutal, totalitarian, Communist government bent on world domination? We need a strong military to and a brave, wise Command-in-Chief to thwart them.

Just think what their plans are for the rest of the world, and a free, private Internet is not to be tolerated, from their point of view.

About Me

My photo
Working Man and Philosopher
I am one of eight adult children from a British Isles background, immigrants that came mostly to Canada, and then pioneered in the Upper Midwest. There may be a smattering of Seneca Indian blood in us. I grew up on a small family farm in Crystal Township. My brother, Doug, that brilliant, bachelor, Irish farmer and historian, is the only one still there. My dad, that conservative hippie imbued with elan vital, lived what I am trying to urge the young to do: maverize, maverize. My mom, that matriarch who worked, raised kids, read constantly and was a political buff, taught me to live life with one's heart, not just one's head. I hope you enjoy what you read. I would welcome your comments and input.
